Rion Dalby - Investment Adviser, Partner

Rion was recruited to the team in 2006 after working for a few years in the banking industry where he served clients’ mortgage and refinance needs, debt consolidation, banking, short-term investments, savings, and loans. He graduated from California State University, Long Beach, with a B.S. in Business Administration, specializing in Finance. With his computer expertise, Rion created and designed tools to provide JDL clients with a clearer understanding of their asset mix, allocation model, and investment strategy.

Now a Partner and Investment Adviser with the firm, Rion provides comprehensive wealth management and planning strategies for his clients to help them achieve their long-term goals.  Working in tandem with their CPA and Trust attorney, Rion strives to ensure that each client’s estate is finely tuned and stewarded to its maximum potential.



Rion considers Faith, Family and Community as the most important components of his life. He resides in Costa Mesa with his wife Annie and their three children and is often found cooking in the kitchen for them as often as time allows. He served in various children’s ministries as well as worked with foster children through ‘Royal Family Kids Camps’. He is also an Eagle Scout and had served in leadership with his local Boy Scout troop. He and his wife are now partnering together as pre-marital counselors, as well as hosting a house church in their home on Wednesday nights and serving on Sunday’s at Garden Church in Costa Mesa.
