Rion Dalby - Investment Adviser, Operations Manager
Rion Dalby - Investment Adviser, Operations Manager
Rion joined the JDL team in 2006 and has served in the financial industry for over 20 years. He graduated from California State University, Long Beach, with a B.S. in Business Administration, specializing in Finance. Alongside his role as an Investment Adviser, he serves as Operations Manager over the support staff and trading desk. Rion interfaces with our various investment institutions and supports client needs for the other Investment Advisers of our firm.
With his computer expertise, Rion created and designed tools to provide JDL clients with a clearer understanding of their asset mix, allocation model, and investment strategy. He initially entered the financial industry working for a national bank where he served clients’ mortgage and refinance needs, debt consolidation, banking, short-term investments, savings, and loans.
Rion resides in Costa Mesa with his wife Annie and his three children. He served in various children’s ministries as well as worked with abused children through ‘Royal Family Kids’. He is also an Eagle Scout, and currently serves in leadership with his local Boy Scout troop. He and his wife now partner with their church in the Marriage Ministry as pre-marital counselors. Rion enjoys playing percussion for the worship team at his church on Sundays and loves cooking in the kitchen with the family.
